Let’s us strive to stay true to ourselves, and focused on Christ, especially when we cannot help ourselves
God’s Purposes
We sometimes forget that challenges also are a part of God’s plan and purpose in our lives. As today’s devotional reminds us, reflecting is critical in these times. The question is posed, “What can we do when life derails our plans, desires, or expectations?” The writer the encourages, “First, remember how God has led through difficult circumstances in the past…. Second, thank Him for His guidance and protection as He brings us through hard times. Third, look forward, knowing that God does not allow anything into our lives that isn't for our good. We can trust Him to do what is best for us.” When things get tough and trying, reflect on your previous testimonies after trials, knowing another is on the horizon ahead with Christ.
Psalm 138:7-8 reminds us, “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life. ... The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me.”
Strength is found in the Lord and comes from the Lord in our trials and tribulations.
Small Straws Scripture: Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
We are not perfect and never will be, yet by His grace, He is open to forgiveness for you and me.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Nahum 1:7
“The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.”
Goodness, safety, and comfort are always found in Him, and is readily available for you and me.
Let’s us strive to stay true to ourselves, and focused on Christ, especially when we cannot help ourselves, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
