Daily Devotional for July 25, 2021

“For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense…”‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭61:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬).

There’s a saying that no good deed goes unpunished. In this life many experience doing for others but BEing hurt or taken advantage of by others. However, as in this morning’s devotional with Joel Osteen, the scripture says, “For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong; I will faithfully give them their recompense…”‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭61:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬). In the same manner the Father has and continues to REstore the joy in me, He sees and knows and will REward you for your good deeds and faithfulness. His timing is always perfect.

Leviticus 2

As the grain offering spoken of in Leviticus 2, let us bring what we have to Christ as an offering. We don’t have to provide additives or make things seem as if they are more than they are, for God loves a cheerful giver, and little BEcomes much when we place it in His hands. Give of what you have—time, talents, and treasures.

REflection from Enough: Silencing the Lies That Steal Your Confidence” by Sharon Jaynes.

Today we BEgin a new series, “Enough: Silencing the Lies That Steal Your Confidence” by Sharon Jaynes. She asks, “Do you have lies that tumble about in your mind no matter how desperately you want them gone? Do you have regrets piled high like books unread?” She then goes on to say, we have a choice to make. Are we going to believe God told the truth in His word? Let us REmember, God is not (wo)man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). As the song Standing on the Promises by Daryl Coley says, “If God said it, I BElieve it…”. What are you BElieving about yourself this day that God has written about you? Change your mindset—change your life. It’s a choice. Choose wisely based upon the Word.

Psalms 100:2

In all that we do let us REjoice and BE glad, for even in sorrow He will place a song in our heart that will bring comfort, joy, understanding, and peace. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Sing, shout, and/or share of His goodness this Sunday, my friend.
