Daily Devotional for July 26, 2021

“He remembers His covenant for the promises He made, for a thousand generations…”. Psalm 105:8

For the past few months I have publicly acknowledged that I am living the prayers that I once prayed, but Osteen’s devotional this morning charged me to think BEyond myself. The scripture emphasized this morning with his message says, “He remembers His covenant for the promises He made, for a thousand generations…”. Not only is God fulfilling His promises to me, but of those who came BEfore me, for I am my ancestors’ wildest dream.

Leviticus 3

As in Leviticus 3:1, If our offering is a sacrifice of peace offering… we shall offer it without blemish before the Lord (Leviticus‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ESV‬‬). Let go, leave it with God at the altar, and let God have His way.

REflection from Enough: A 7-Day Plan: Silence the Lies that Steal Your Confidence

This morning’s message from Sharon Jaynes encourages us to REalize the enemy’s true identity. She says, “The enemy is the one who tells us that we’re not good enough and never will be…and it’s not true…The devil can’t take away the promises of God. He can’t change the truth of who you are and what you have in Christ.” When I got to the end of the message, and it asked what lies have you been believing about yourself, I quickly thought, I haven’t. I truly work to take captive every thought, and that was the scripture associated with the message.

It has truly taken time and consistency for me to get to this place, but with all that I have been T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, heartbreak) in just the past four years, I know His promises to prosper and not harm me are true, and I know I am His child. I am who God says I am. My siSTARS and brothers, if you ever feel the enemy causing you to place a question mark in front of what God has said for your life, Jaynes encourages us, “Grab it with both hands and yank it into an exclamation mark!”

Hebrews 13:8

We always have consistency in Christ—never wavering. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May we make moves with Christ and be merciful this Monday, my friend.
