Daily Devotional for February 15, 2021

“…so I am allotted months of emptiness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me.”

‭‭(Job‬ ‭7:3‬ ‭NRSV‬)

I was just speaking yesterday with a friend about how we allow our thoughts to jump to a finale when it’s not REally the case. As Osteen says this morning, we focus on the problem, magnifying the problem like Job, and making the mistake of thinking it’s permanent. He says, “It’s a night season, not a night lifetime....God already has the solution and breakthrough is headed your way.” Even if we have mustard seed faith, the smallest glimmer of hope—hold on to it as God takes you T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak).

Ruth 4

May we REmain confident in knowing that God will take care of our hearts. As stated in Ruth 4:14-15, “Blessed be the Lord, who has not left you this day ...and may his name be renowned in Israel! He shall be to you a restorer of life ....”

REflection from Living Changed: Spiritual Warfare

As with our discussion yesterday, we REminded each other that the enemy uses the same tactics to try discourage us. As we are encouraged in today message from Living Changed: Spiritual Warfare, we must take captive every thought, and as Paul encourages us, “to think on whatever is true, noble, lovely, and praiseworthy... and cast out everything that doesn’t line up with God”(Philippians 4:8).

Psalms 113:3

No matter where we go or what we do, His praise shall continually BE in our mouths.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May the Master make marvelous moves for you this Monday, my friend.
