May we be gentle with ourselves and others, and mindful of thoughts in our walk
“Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” Proverbs 29:11
“True Strength”, today’s message begins with scripture from Proverbs 29:11, which says, “Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” The message speaks to us about most people’s admiration of strength, both physical and inner. When it comes to inner strength, the writer says, “True strength can only be found in the character of God. He is mighty but he is also gentle. He is kind and slow to anger. Most often strength comes in the form of gentleness.… When we set our hearts to be like God, we are strong through our gentleness.” As strong as society expects us to be with boldness and how much we can carry (literally and figuratively), let us lead with gentleness that can help us conquer giants and mountains.
Reflection from Thrive Mom Devotional Series
On day 3, the final day of our series “Thrive Mom Devotional Series”, we are provided with “The Mindset To Thrive: Practical Tools To Rock Your Mom Mind”. Daily hacks were provided to us from Romans 12:1-2, which speaks to surrendering and constant renewal, as well as Proverbs 4:23, and the importance of guarding our hearts. The author encourages, “Let's do some mental decluttering, shall we? Consciously replace negative thoughts with pure and true ones. Flip that mental switch!” We are in control and our perspective creates the positive we need to be productive and purposeful in our pursuit each day.

May we be gentle with ourselves and others, and mindful of thoughts in our walk, my friend.
