May we seek every opportunity to pray and find joy in each day

“Then Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.’” 1 Samuel 2:1-2

Today’s devotional “Neverending Joy” begins with a focus on 1 Samuel 2:1-2. “Then Hannah prayed and said: ‘My heart rejoices in the Lord; in the Lord my horn is lifted high. My mouth boasts over my enemies, for I delight in your deliverance. There is no one holy like the Lord; there is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God.’” The writer then encourages us, “Consider for a moment the most joyous time of your walk with Christ…. The way you felt about God at the highest, most joyful, amazing, glorious moment is how he feels about you at all times.” May we work to find JOY in our JOurneY each day. No matter what each day brings, there is something that we can rejoice in, knowing God has, is, and will provide for He has, is, and will always be our guide.

Reflection from SoulSister: Renewing Your Soul with the Word of God

This morning each of us is encouraged to be a “Soul Seeker”. “Our soul needs to seek God. Prayer is the main tool we have in communing with God. Prayer is also a tool in commanding our souls to seek God. Our spirits are alive, new, and born again, but our soul needs to be renewed and reprogramed. In order for that to happen, we have to seek God with both our heart and soul.” Prayer is a personal thing; it’s the that is truly between you and the Father. When we go freely and openly, it is one of the most vulnerable and intimate acts. May we always work to free and renew our hearts, minds, and souls, each day, even multiple times to be close to, hear, be heard, and depend on Him.

Colossians 1:13

We have been rescued, and now we should be open to receive all the goodness and mercy He has in store for you and me.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May we seek every opportunity to pray and find joy in each day, my friend.
