You are who you are because of Whose you are

Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wineabound. Psalm 4:7

“Greater Joy” is found in the Father, as uplifted through today’s devotional from “Strength for Women”. The text says, “It's important in these times to anchor your self-worth in the joy that you have in Jesus. Get some perspective when you feel like everyone else is doing life better than you! Be happy for them but overflow with joy for yourself because you are an heir of the King!” Social media is entertaining, and should be limited. Our lives, however are real and limitless. Focus more on you and yours and all that God has blessed you with in your past and current, remembering the fact that greater for you is coming in His timing for you.

Reflection from SoulSister: Renewing Your Soul with the Word of God

Today’s devotional from “SoulSister: Renewing Your Soul with the Word of God” reminds us it’s all about “God! Not Man“. The scripture highlighted in Psalms 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes”. The writer reminds us, “We must put our trust in God. God will allow us to walk in favor that no man can give us. You and I, my sister, already have it. The favor we are seeking is already in Christ.… Let’s not put our trust in men who seem so happy, so successful, and who we think are the key to our destiny. God wants us to say that the only way I am where I am is because of the grace of God. It’s because of Jesus Christ!“ We are who we are and have accomplished what we have, and are where we are because of what the Father has put in us and our faith walk. No one else gets the glory for your story.

James 5:16

May we pray honestly and with a pure heart for ourselves and others each opportunity we have to show others God’s wondrous working power.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

You are who you are because of Whose you are, my friend.
