Trust His perfect timing

“‘Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock’.” Matthew‬ ‭7:24‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I’m truly grateful for God’s word that never changes and is available whenever we need it. I’m also thankful for my circle maker friends and friends in faith who know when I, too, need an encouraging word. Osteen continues this morning with his message about the house BEing built on the rock that still stands after the rain. The rain is a season and will eventually end for me and for you, and as Osteen says, if we’ll stay in faith we won’t BE a victim but a victor, and we’ll still BE standing. I’m still standing today, and no matter what may come my way, my life is in His hands.

Judges 12

Judges 12:3 REminds us that the Lord will give us victory over any battle; we don’t have to have others in the battle with us. He alone is God.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Joyce Meyer encourages us to make the most of our time this morning. She says, “Time is such a gift from God! I see every day how He takes His time to make us what He wants us to be. And then, in His mercy and grace, He gives us time to get in agreement with what He's doing in our lives so we can experience His goodness.” We all have some challenging times where we struggle, wanting to direct our own paths, BEcoming impatient with God’s timing (and that is me in this moment). She goes further to say, “God is gracious. He takes His time. We might think He's taking too long when, in His goodness, He is just waiting for us to line up with the work He's doing in us. He won't rush. He is patient. Our struggling only delays our progress.” Sounds like I need to REfocus on my word for 2021, alignment, and get back to where He needs me to BE, trusting in His purpose and knowing He has great plans.

Psalms 19:7
