No worrying, no wondering, just waiting
“Your Father…sends rain on the just and the unjust.” Matthew 5:45
I’ve BEen thinking about a particular scripture over the past few days, and this morning it appeared with the message from Joel Osteen. It’s from Matthew 5:45 and REads, “Your Father…sends rain on the just and the unjust.” Osteen adds, “No matter how good of a person you are, there’s still going to be some rain in your life. Being a person of faith does not exempt you from difficulties…The difference is that when you honor God, the storms may come, but when it’s all said and done, you’ll still be standing.
I’m in a storm, but I’m standing on His promises. I’m in a storm but on Christ the Solid Rock I stand. I will continue to BE just who I am and whose I am knowing what I’m experiencing is a lesson and involves blessings.
It’s truly a new season, but whether trials or triumphs, it’s meant to build me and make me better in preparation for what’s to come in my life. So grateful for the opportunity to once again experience a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, new opportunities, and I’m still standing.
Judges 11
As in Judges 11:13, may whatever has BEen taken from us—mentally, physically, emotionally, financially—BE REstored peaceably.
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
One of my first thoughts this morning was that I need to REmember to guard my heart, and the title for today’s message from Joyce Meyer is “Guarding Your Heart”. She lifts up Proverbs 4:23, which says, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” Meyer then explains, “Whatever's in your heart is eventually going to show up in your everyday life. Whatever's inside will eventually find its way out, where anyone and everyone can see it.” As I REad this, I thought about the lyrics from a Hezekiah Walker song, which say, “Flowing from my heart are the issues of my heart, it’s gratefulness. Perspective: no matter what we may go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), let us choose to have a grateful heart. We are REsponsible for ourselves, so let us BE bold with our boundaries of protection around our hearts, which are truly our life lines.
Psalm 42:11
We never have to wonder why with Yahweh. He will always answer if we trust and wait on Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
No worrying, no wondering, just waiting this Wednesday, my friend.
