Daily Devotional for April 13, 2021
“I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand…’” Isaiah 46:10
Perspective is so critical in this JOurneY called life. We unfortunately have tunnel vision, but our Father has the big picture view. As discussed by Osteen this morning, “All of us live through things we don’t understand. One reason is that we can’t see the big picture for our lives.” But we must REmain faithful and trusting in God, for His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). However, this one thing is for certain; He works EVERYTHING for our good. So, whatever you might be questioning or trying to work through, know that He has a purpose and a plan. As William Murphy’s lyrics say, “It’s already getting better...God’s already moving on your behalf.”
Luke 1
As with Zechariah in Luke 1:13-14, we do not have to be afraid, for our prayers have been heard...we will have joy and gladness...”. God favors us just as He did Elizabeth who prayed for a child, John, and was blessed in her latter years. REmain faithful that your latter will BE greater, and your BEst is yet to come.
REflection from 21-Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life
Today’s message from “21-Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life” highlights Delilah and Jezebel. May we REalize that it is important not to BE deceitful but know though the truth may bring hurt or harm to ourselves or loved ones, God is still with us and can bring about REstoration. BE open and BE honest with those who love and trust you.
Psalm 46:10
When we don’t know what to do, when to do it, or how to do it, we must just BE, and He will speak to our souls. REst. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Time will tell this Tuesday, my friend.
