Daily Devotional for April 19, 2021

After you have suffered a little while, our God… will come and pick you up, and set you firmly in place, and make you stronger than ever. 1 Peter 5:10 TLB

I’m physically and mentally exhausted, and here I am awake at 1:37am. After tossing and turning after REceiving unexpected text messages from different people at 12:46am, I can’t go back to sleep. I should have learned by now that God has a message for me to REceive from my devotionals, and as usual, it’s right on time and in alignment. Osteen states this morning, “The reason the fire is so hot is that there’s something big in your future. God is growing you up. He’s getting you ready to receive blessings, favor, and increase as you’ve never seen.” In the same way I should have known God had a message for me, I should also know I’m on the verge of a breakthrough.

It never fails; when things seem to BE working in my favor, the enemy (and sometimes the inner-me) tries to sabotage me. My life is BEing impacted by a trifecta, a trinity in its own way, where God is Ephesians 3:20ing my life, and I should know with every new level there is a new devil. I am so glad that I REmind myself to turn to God’s word instead of tossing and turning and wondering, for the messages always bring comfort and REassurance. Osteen says, “Difficulties will come...God is getting you prepared. If it were too much, God would dial back the intensity... The reason the fire is so hot is that there’s something big in your future.” Let us REmain steadfast, for we may BE tried in the fire, but we will come out even better than gold. Wait for it! And wait well.🙏🏽

Luke 7

In all that we may encounter and go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) in this life, like the sinful woman in Luke 7, who washed Jesus’ feet, may our faith save us, and we go in peace (verse 50).

REflection from 21-Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life

The message is truly in the title of today’s devotional from “21-Day Plan for Busy Women: A Rich and Satisfying Life”. It says, “Surrender Resources to God's Ownership

The Widow & the Oil: Fully utilizing the financial resources you have.” May we not lean unto our own understanding in life’s situations, but trust in the Father. As with the widow and the oil, little BEcomes much when we activate our faith and give whatever we have to the Father. Philippians 4:6-7 REminds us, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” REmember, what doesn’t even look right to (wo)man (including yourself) is a part of God’s plan. Activate your faith and wait.🙏🏽

Hosea 6:6

Let us not settle and sacrifice for anything less than God’s love and compassion and His intentions for our lives.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Make sure your move is with the Master this Monday, my friend.
