There is no mountain we cannot climb or conquer with the Master and His word in mind
And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, Exodus 34:6
Today’s devotional from “Daily Strength for Women” is called “Compassionate and Gracious”. It says, “Each day we walk with the Lord, we hope to mature in him. The more we learn about his character, his goodness and compassion, his mercy and his love, the more we yearn to be like him…. We may be ashamed of things we have said or done. God is faithful to forgive us for yesterday and before. We can take a courageous stand and declare each morning, ‘Today is a new day. Today I will be compassionate and gracious to those I meet. I will be slow to anger. I will abound in love. I will be more like Jesus.’" This is a new day with new BEginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. It is the day the Lord has made and given us another chance to live again and strive to BE more like Him. May we make today the BEst day of our lives, living for Christ, doing as Christ, living in each moment with no regrets.
REflection from Finding Joy: A Journey to Unshakeable Wonder in an Unwavering World
This morning’s devotional by Shaunti Feldhahn speaks out the looming mountains we encounter in life; those daunting tasks and challenges of work or life that look as if we will not conquer or see through. She says to us, “Sisters, we can stare at our looming mountain for so long that we take our eyes off of everything else. We lose the big picture. But serving someone else gets us out of ourselves. We are suddenly able to remember that we are the hands and feet of Jesus, serving at His pleasure and willing to be redirected to whichever mountain He chooses that day.“REgardless of the REsponsibility at hand, may we allow our Father to order our direction. She goes on to say, “Allowing God to pull us away from our schedules and use us to serve others allows Him to minister to us, too.”He may allow a distraction that we initially feel is preventing us from getting it done, but is the much needed break we need to REdirect our thoughts and REset. Our Father knows what’s BEst and what we need in order to succeed. Trust His will and His way.
Isaiah 26:3
No matter our situations in life, He will keep us in peace when we feel we are in pieces. We only have to focus on and trust in Thee.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
