Daily Devotional for February 6, 2021

“And all ate and were filled; and they took up what was left over of the broken pieces, twelve baskets full.” Matthew‬ ‭14:20‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

I could easily provide my TESTimony this morning as I normally do that’s in alignment with Osteen’s message, but all I can truly say is, yes, and Amen. He stated, “If you have gone through more than your share of bad breaks, take heart. The more broken you are, the more God is going to increase you. The bigger the disappointment, the bigger the blessing. The more they hurt you, the more He’s going to reward you. The brokenness is only temporary. Don’t settle in the valley, don’t even get comfortable in the valley, for the valley is not your home. The Shepherd is leading you through the valley. On the other side is abundance, fullness of joy, great relationships, health and wholeness, and dreams coming to pass.”🙏🏽

Galatians 6

As we JOurneY along life’s glorious adventure, others, no matter how close or distant may not understand our twists and turns in direction. Quite honestly, we most likely won’t understand, but as we are led, let us take captive the message from Galatians 6:8-9; “If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit. So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.” As I’ve said before, sometimes what doesn’t look right to (wo)man is a part of God’s plan. Faith walk into the future with the Father.

REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

Today we share in Day 21 of 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce. As I have grown along my JOurneY, I sit in awe many times as to how if I give freely from the heart whatever I have—my time, my talent, and my treasure—He gives back to me, exponentially. Many people ask me why I do so much and how do I do so much, but this very devotional on stewardship is the explanation. If I had ten thousand tongues I still would not have enough to tell of His goodness and what He’s done for me. Therefore, I work to give my all and focus each day on one of the scriptures REferenced, Colossians 3:23–“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters”.

Isaiah 41:10

Whatever He leads us to, faith in the Father (and not fear) will get us T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak).🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Sacrifice is sure to surface when serving the Savior this Saturday and to come, my friend.
