Oh what joy we experience as we accept and walk with the Lord
Crying
Kundtz speaks about the misinterpretation of crying this morning saying, “Crying has a bad rap for adults and it's time to change that…. First, crying does not necessarily indicate sadness. and it rarely indicates weakness. But that's as far as many of us go with crying: sadness and weakness…. Crying is not an emotion in itself, but a comprehensive expression of all deeply felt emotion.” As adults, we need to work to embrace crying, for it is one of the most powerful expressions of joy and sorrow, which we will always experience in this life.
The simplest scripture I know is one of the most powerful and should give us permission to cry. John 35:11 reads, “Jesus wept.” Of the most High God did, why can’t you and I?
Small Straws Scripture: Ephesians 4:20-24 But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
There is a time when we choose in this life to move from who we were to who God calls us to be. Once we do so we are in an ever evolving state to continue understanding and working to grow closer to our Father, His word, and His ways.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 18:3-5
and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
Let us accept the opportunity to be born again, work to be humbled to do and be as Christ expects of us in this life.
Oh what joy we experience as we accept and walk with the Lord, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
