Pause, pray, and let go of stressful ways, for our God always makes a way

The Gift of Relaxation

Kundtz says this morning, “Humans simply were not made to stay in a state of stress all the time…. For us humans now, most stress is not physical but psychological or spiritual… and once you have experienced stress in your life, you need to do something with that negative stress energy to balance the time of stress with an opposite time of being relaxed.” Let us not brush off stresses in life, and especially the need to relax once we experience them. Let us be quick to feel in our bodies, minds, and souls the uneasiness and respond to it. I just took a few moments to take some deep breaths to clear my mind and anxiety I was feeling this early in the morning. I know it was leftover from stressors of yesterday. Let us not ignore our feelings for they tell a story that we must be attentive to as we go into the next experiences in life.

This morning’s message reminds me of one of my favorite scriptures from Galatians 5:22-23 and 25. ““But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law…. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”

Let us assess our lives, and if this is not how we are living, let us get back to it intentionally in our walk and for our wellbeing.

Small Straws Scripture: Revelation 3:8

I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

‭‭Even when we think we don’t have the strength to do another thing, God lets us know He is there, opening doors and making ways that we could never alone.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Genesis 1:3

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

God’s wondrous works were evident in the beginning and know that they continue throughout our lives today.

Pause, pray, and let go of stressful ways, for our God always makes a way, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
