Walk boldly alone and shine as you blaze your own path with Christ

“Anyone who wants to be my follower must love me more than he does his father, mother, wife, children, brothers, or sisters…” Luke 14:26

Osteen lifts up Luke 14:26 which says, “Anyone who wants to be my follower must love me more than he does his father, mother, wife, children, brothers, or sisters…” I REcall the first time I REad that three years ago, and it made me gasp a bit, but when you have the right perspective, you have to REmember that He loves us BEst. We sometimes get in our minds that it’s family over everything (FOE), but in all honesty, it should BE Father over everything. If things are not ordained by God, it’s not a part of His will for our lives. We must discern and again, BE willing to lose to win. This is not only true personally but professionally too. Osteen speaks about Joseph and how his own brother tried yo push his dream down. As he REminds us, “You don’t need their approval. You have Almighty God’s approval. REmain forward, focused and following in faith (and not fear) and favor on what His purpose is for your life.

1 Samuel 1

In all that we desire, as written in 1 Samuel 1:17, may we go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Lives

Joyce Meyer speaks about love this morning saying, “True love must give.” She goes further to say, “Everyone desires to be loved and accepted. But many of us try to find happiness the wrong way. We attempt to find it in getting, but it is found in giving.“ God is love, and once we REceive Him in our lives, we come to know that there is no love greater, and as a REsult, we must share and freely give of it to others. Do you love who you are? Do you truly love what you do? Are you displaying God’s love in work and play?

Matthew 5:16

The glow up is REal in Christ. Let others take notice of the God in you. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Walk boldly alone and shine as you blaze your own path with Christ, my friend.
