“…Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.”

‭‭2 Chronicles‬ ‭20:15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Perspective is given to us this morning by Osteen: some things just aren’t our battles. As he emphasized 2 Chronicles 20:15, which REminds us the battles are not ours but God’s, I REflected on a conversation I had with a dear friend this weekend. I said to her, even when you know you are right, you don’t have to prove it. Proving things can BE an unnecessary fight, but we have to REmember we only have to work to please God. REmember, my siSTAR and brother, in Christ we win, even if we have to lose to win.

2 Samuel 24

As David stated in 2 Samuel 24:14, “Let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.”

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Meyer provides comfort through her words this morning by saying the following about our God. “It's in His very nature to love us, no matter how sinful our actions may be…. He may not always love everything we do, but He does love us.“ Let that REsonate with you. When you feel alone, when you feel defeated, when you feel helpless—you are loved unconditionally like no one else can do for you.

Romans 5:3

Trials come to make us strong and problems are solved for our progression along life’s JOurneY. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
