REmain steadfast and BE strengthened by the Savior
"You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you….”
2 Chronicles 20:17
This morning’s devotional by Osteen, “Stay in Peace”, lifts up 2 Chronicles 20:17 which says, "You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you….” Osteen emphasizes, “When you stay in peace, God will take what's meant for harm and use it to your advantage.” In this life we must have a positive perspective, for with Christ we can stay in peace and not pieces, broken up from trying to figure things out on our own. Stay in peace this day and each day knowing that there is a hedge of protection and guarantee for battles to BE won.
Isaiah 5
“But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness” (Isaiah 5:16).
REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life
This morning Joyce Meyer poses a question: “Why do we have to deal with temptation?” She then REsponds saying, “Because it strengthens our faith, or our spiritual muscles. If we didn't have to stand against temptation, we'd never know our own spiritual strength.” Temptation is sure to come as evident as seen as early as Genesis in the bible, but when it arises let us work to seek His word to pass our strength test, for His grace is sufficient for us, and His power is made perfect in our weakness, as found in 2 Corinthians 12:9.
