May today BE the first day of the BEst days of your life

“The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Psalm‬ ‭110:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I truly love my morning devotional time. It has truly BEcome very personal BEcause of my intentional daily commitment to give Him the first moments of each day He continues to bless me with, and especially this day—my birthday.🙏🏽 This morning’s message by Joel Osteen, “Put Your Feet Up”, is right in alignment with what I needed to experience and setting the tone for how God wants me to move forward during my 45th year of life. The scripture for today from Psalms 110:1 says, “The LORD says to my lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’” My siSTARS and brothers, as I have JOurneYed along this life, and grown to understand and study the Word more and more, we truly don’t have to do anything but live for Him, and He’ll do the REst for us.

We can RElax, and He will REstore whatever the enemy has/is/will work to kill, steal, and destroy in our lives. I know this message is for me by the confirmation of many of my favorite scripture REferences. Today’s message like every other is never planned, for I am just REading along in “Daily Readings from The Power of I Am.” Osteen says, “When we face difficulties, too often we take matters into our own hands…. But if you want God to make your enemy your footstool, you have to be still and know that He is God. That’s reference #1. Over the last four years, I have had to learn the importance of BEing still, sitting in situations alone, and waiting patiently to hear God’s direction for me. BEfore, I would work to try to orchestrate and make things happen, but with all that I was going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), it was all truly BEyond my mental and physical capacity, but BEing still and trusting allowed me to see that only He alone could fight my battles. I REalized He can and will do all things but fail. Osteen goes on in today’s message saying, “It takes faith to say, ‘God. I know You are fighting my battles. You promised it would work out for my good.’” Reference #2–God will work everything for our good. This is found in Romans 8:28, which says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” We must understand and know He has a purpose and plan for our lives and everything we experience. We may not understand as we go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. but it will BE for the betterment of me and you.

The last thing Osteen does is encourage us to keep our joy and stay in peace; REference #3. God didn’t create us to live in misery, frustration, and defeated. Galatians 5:22-23 states, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” When we choose Christ, we can have abundant life. What He’s done for me, He wants to do for you. My birthday wish is that you will try Him for yourself or continue to trust in Him and His way. Our latter will only BE greater, and our BEst is yet to come. Cheers to 45 years to me!

Isaiah 4

Isaiah 4:1 is a REminder that we can make it on our own —we don’t have to depend on anyone but the Father.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This morning’s devotional by Joyce Meyer speaks to “Dealing with Dread”. She says, “Dread is a trap, and you must be determined not to fall into it. If not being sure of the future or facing new things causes you to feel dread or fear, turn to Psalm 27:1, praying and confessing out loud, 'The Lord is my Light and my Salvation, whom shall I fear or dread?'” This year, I will keep this as a REminder as I BEgin each day. There will always BE things in life that we do not look forward to or are unable to imagine or figure out, but let us REmember those words and this prayer that Meyer provided: “Lord, I declare today that You are my Light and my Salvation. Because of You, I don't need to dread the future. I have victory in You.” I choose to REmain forward, focused, and following in faith (and not fear) and favor this 45th year. Join me!

1 Corinthians 3:16

We are all temples and God dwells in us. Let us live in a way that we might share in His goodness with others, and that others might be drawn to Him BEcause of our words and actions. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

May today BE the first day of the BEst days of your life, my friend.
