Lead in love and loyalty to our Lord

But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the Lord his God.”

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭30:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Sometimes in this life we will feel defeated, but like David ad his 600 men who returned to their houses burned, belongings stolen, and women and children captive—we have to go take back what beings to us, as Osteen speaks to in today’s devotional. Osteen says, we must turn our greatest defeat into our greatest victory. What has you down and out in your life? Change your perspective so it is a blessing or lesson, and know you win because of who you are and Whose you are.

2 Samuel 5:2

As in 2 Samuel 5:2, we are needed to shepherd people and oversee them so they may see the way of our Father through us.

Reflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

This morning Meyer says,” There are too many unhappy born-again, Spirit-filled believers who don’t know what it’s like to remain full of the Spirit of God by acknowledging Him and pursuing His was daily. The Holy Spirit is in them, but they don’t let the evidence of it show in their normal, day-to-day life.” This used to BE me. I could not understand how Joel Osteen could BE so happy each and every time I heard him, saw him, or listened to his voice…but now I know. We have to literally BE filled up, and the way to do so is by saturating ourselves in the Word by convening with our Father. We have to fill up in Him, for as willing vessels we give and don’t always Receive from others, but our Father’s love is ever flowing. Fill up in the Father as frequently as you deem necessary to REstore your JOY.

1 John 4:7

May we give the gift of love to one another to share our Father who is love.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Lead in love and loyalty to our Lord this Thursday, my friend.
