Daily Devotional for March 9, 2021
The LORD said to Gideon, “The people with you are too many… lest Israel boast over me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.’” Judges 7:2 ESV
This life we live is not about profit but purpose. Sometimes God can place the most amazing opportunities in front of us, yet BEcause everything that we desire doesn’t line up exactly as we want, we will stay complacent and continue with what’s comfortable. Osteen helps to put this in perspective with his devotional this morning. He said, “If you’ll see your weakness, your temptation, as a reminder to ask God for His help and to thank Him for what He’s done, you’ll continue to move forward in spite of what’s come against you.” If we are truly given exactly what we ask for, then what would we really need to work towards? Let us REmember to whom much is given, much will BE REquired (Luke 12:48). May we REmain humble as we rise to higher heights, walking by faith and not by sight knowing that our Father promises to supply all our needs, not our wants. Where we are weak, He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10). Trust Him with your trajectory.
Hosea 2
May we always REmember we are His people, and He is our God (Hosea 2:23 NRSV).
REflection from Restoration: Deluxe Bible Plan
Lecrae’s message this morning focuses on how immensely patient our Father is with us. Many times we are impatient and REact instead of taking our time to process things and REspond, missing out on opportunities and damaging RElationships. Lecrae goes on to say, “But every time you wake up, you get another chance. And the beauty of our God is that His mercy is unending.” BE still my brother and sister, and REcognize what God was doing for you in the waiting, and REap the REward He has made worthwhile in the waiting.
John 14:26
Whatever He is leading you to that is for you, the Holy Spirit will dwell in you to see you to and through. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Today is the day to take the test, my friend.
