Daily Devotional for March 8, 2021
For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10
Perspective continues to BE key in the devotionals provided by Osteen. Today’s message REminds us that as God takes us T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak), He may not REmove everything that we pray for—at least definitely not in our timing. As the scripture states this morning, “For when I am weak, I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:10). Like the man who continues to carry his bed after BEing healed, his bed, just like what we may be carrying, is a REminder of what God has done and brought us to and through. It gives us a REminder of what we once perceived as a weakness now truly allows us to REmember where He has brought us from and REcognize our strength when we think we have none or can’t go on. What is your bed? Don’t lie in it, but carry on in Christ.
Hosea 1
As in Hosea 1:10, may we always REmember we are children of the living God.
REflection from Restoration: Deluxe Bible Plan
As Lecrae speaks about today, I am so grateful for my awakening to Christ. As words from his prayer REsonate this morning, I’m so glad He helped me see things the way He sees them and guides me in understanding I don’t need to measure success the way the world does. I pray the same for you, my brothers and sisters. May we continue to experience the awakening of Christ in our lives, REalizing that as spoken by Lecrae, “When you are awake, you are able to understand that the things of the world won’t give you the satisfaction you actually need. You’re able to see that the awards and spotlight don’t give off the same glow and that you can measure your success in Jesus, who died on the cross for you.” May we learn to shine through the SONshine.
Psalms 119:105
We never walk in darkness when we focus on Christ to find our way. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
