Daily Devotional for September 28, 2021
“And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain.” Exodus 3:12 KJV
I love how I can REad each new day’s devotional, and it is right in alignment with my life. It proves to me that everything God ordains. I am completely exhausted from BEing on my own, and doing everything for me and my three children, as well as still working to adjust to a new job that includes commuting, checking in on my mom who’s getting a little bit older, while still trying to keep my business afloat. However, as Osteen’s message emphasizes this morning, God uses turning points in our lives to push us into our destiny. In Osteen’s situation this morning he said, “Even though I was uncomfortable, I learned I could do things I never thought I could do. It was the best thing for me. If God had answered my prayers, I wouldn’t be who I am today.”
Last night I posted on social media about how my oldest son told me shortly after leaving my marriage that I looked happier in my new home. That continues to REsonate with me this day. Though bittersweet, I can say I’m grateful that He didn’t answer my prayers to save my marriage, for I definitely wouldn’t be who I am or where I am today.
Numbers 11
Numbers 11:1 states, ““And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord…”. Let us not complain, but come plain BEfore Him as humbly as we can, knowing He’s always there to make the BEst ways for our lives.
REflection from I Am: 7 Keys to Unlock Your Future
God always gives us what we need when we need it, and He has given me the BEst REminder in this moment with how I’m feeling and what I’m going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). The final message from “I Am: 7 Keys to Unlock Your Future” says, “I am called. Called. It’s a powerful concept, one that implies so much: You have something to offer. Your contribution is recognized. People depend on you. You have responsibility. You have influence. You have a mission.” As I REflect on this and the challenges I am facing at this time, if I’m called of course the enemy is going to try to counter. This is the REassurance that I needed, and I hope it will help you to continue to see things through too.
Philippians 2:13
It is truly the God in me (and you) who authors and orchestrates our lives to do His will and walk in purpose.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Trust even the trials this Tuesday, my friend.
