REmain focused on the vision Christ has provided and not suffer in the waiting

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:3

Today’s devotional is called “Your Destiny”. For some REason I was inclined to look up the definition for destiny, and found two meanings; one stated the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future, and the other the hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future—fate. Now for the latter, I’m not going with fate, but I know instead it is about faith BEcause it’s not about a hidden power but a higher power, and that’s Christ Jesus. Habakkuk 2:3 is emphasized with the message which REads, “These things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day.”

The message follows with, “Whether or not you believe you have a specific purpose, God knows you do. And he knows just what it is, and how long- how many false starts and poor decisions- it will take you to fulfill it.” This is a REminder that our destiny is not within our control but in our Father’s will and hidden power to others but in faith with us, will lead us where He desires to do so, as written in Jeremiah 29:11. So as we are encouraged, wait well for God’s perfect timing and if waiting is uncomfortable, ask for His help, for His timing is perfect.

Matthew 25

As we go along life’s JOurneY waiting well for our destiny, let us BE mindful of others along the way, for they are children of the Most High, and as written in Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭40‬ by the Father “‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”

Reflection from CLT ALT Delete: Reseating our Heartware

Hope Singapore’s message today is “Making God-Centred Prayers”. It begins, “In a world filled with ambiguity, we long for clarity in the midst of confusion and straight forward answers to life’s questions. However, as with Jeremiah, the text goes on to say, “Jeremiah’s prayer did not begin with him hurling his questions at God and demanding answers. Instead, he came before God in prayer by first acknowledging who God is and with reverence in worship…. Beyond seeing prayer as a tool to get answers we are seeking, may we see prayer firstly as relating to God and remembering our smallness in light of His sovereignty. As a REminder from a few days ago, everything we need is accomplished, BEcause we walk in victory when we walk and trust in our Father.

Romans 3:25

Let us REmain faithful in knowing that Christ shed His blood so that as we go to Him in prayer we will BE paid back for a wrong one has done against us.

REmain focused on the vision Christ has provided and not suffer in the waiting, my friend.
