REmember your G.P.S.—God Plans our Steps

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

The entire message this morning, “Repentance”, is perfectly written and so easy to REceive. BEcause it is short, I’m going to share it in its entirety. “As humans, we sometimes wrongly judge sin on a scale. God does not view iniquity this way, however, since any imperfection separates us from a perfect God. We should refrain from comparing sin, judging others, or devaluing the grace that has been shown to us. There is nobody who God's grace cannot extend to, if they would just be willing to receive it. As Christians, we should adamantly admit our need for God's grace and be willing to extend grace to others, regardless of how we weigh and measure their sin.” A sin is a sin in our Father’s eyes. We as humans have judged and worked to determine what is more punishable on earth, but I’m so grateful for our Father and His forgiveness for any sin that we commit when we go to Him for His grace and mercy.

Let go of any wrongdoing you might still BE holding onto today, and pray for forgiveness, reveal so you can heal. Our God is a forgiving god, and the God of a second chance.

Matthew 24

Let us REmain confident in His word, for as written in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Reflection from CLT ALT Delete: Resetting our Heartware by Hope Singapore

This morning’s message from “CLT ALT Delete: Resetting our Heartware” by Hope Singapore speaks to “Walk the Talk”. Basically, the title and text encourages put your faith forward; let our actions of faith speak, even if it does look right in (wo)man’s eyes. The message speaks about Jeremiah and his faith saying, “The act of [Jeremiah] purchasing the field in a time of nationwide calamity was Jeremiah’s expression of faith in God’s promise of future restoration where ‘houses, field and vineyards shall again be bought in this land’ (v15). While defeat was on everyone else’s mind, Jeremiah’s act reminded the people of God’s intention to redeem and restore even after the pain of defeat and the trauma of exile…. Jeremiah acted in audacious faith by obeying God’s difficult command. He walked the talk.”

Let us always focus on what the Father is leading us to do. His ways are not our ways, and what may not look right to (wo)man might BE a part of God’s plan. Trust what He is doing to you , where He is leading you, and who He is using to get through to you.

Acts 3:19
