Rest and wait with expectancy not anxiety, for what’s next
Finding the Spaces Between the Notes
Poet Rainer Marie Rilke is quoted as saying, "I am the rest between two notes...". Kundtz explains, “The poet asks us to be, like him, the rest between the notes: that brief, measured moment between the time when one note of the music stops and another begins. Without that rest, all would be chaotic racket.” Resting allows beautiful things to come together. It also allows chaos and destruction to be analyzed and overcome. Rest gives the opportunity to be and see things, then working to determine what’s next or where’s next.
Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
There is nothing that we have to rush into in this life. Yet we must take the time to pray earnestly, letting our hearts and thoughts be known, but allow Him to be in control.
Small Straws Scripture: Isaiah 48:17
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go.
He knows what’s best for you and me. He is our true guide and knows where to lead you and me.
Youversion Verse of the Day: Matthew 5:5
“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.“
Let us be humble, peaceful, and understanding, and let Him lead us to places and positions we could not fathom.
Rest and wait with expectancy not anxiety, for what’s next, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
