Daily Devotional for September 6, 2021
“Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” Romans 5:2 NLT
This morning Osteen continues to encourage us to keep our anchor down, for keeping it down prevents us from drifting into doubt. He says, “There will always be something trying to get us to pull up our anchor.” From his list, delay has to BE the one that is a challenge for me. However, I will focus on the fact that delay is not denial, for I know God’s timing is perfect.
Joshua 18
Joshua 18:2, should encourage us to hasten to His throne, but let us wait without haste, for God’s timing is perfect, and we will BE allotted what He has for us in due time.
REflection from Work and Rest by Words of Hope
Today we BEgin the series “Work and Rest” by Words of Hope. It says, “We were made to desire, and delight in, work… but the first humans transgressed God's boundary…the immediate consequence was the corruption of work. That which should have been pure joy…became painful toil”. However, Jesus came that we may have life abundantly. The message continues to REmind us, “When Jesus redeems humanity, he also redeems work. No longer a means of keeping death at bay, our work can become a means of caring for creation and communing with the Creator.” Let us work for fulfillment and not forced focused on fortune.
John 6:35
There is one source and supplier of all our needs, our prayers, and desires. True fulfillment is found in Him. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Manifestation is in the making in your mind this Monday, my friend.
