Daily Devotional for February 24, 2021
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 NRSV
This morning Osteen speaks about the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. As with a caterpillar, may we allow ourselves to BEcome uncomfortable and endure the dark places, the dark seasons in life, for God to allow us to develop and grow into more than we can imagine from (wo)man’s eyes and expectations.
Nehemiah 2
As with the caterpillar and many things in life, what doesn’t look right or possible to (wo)man is a part of God’s plan. REgardless of what things may look like to others, “The God of heaven is the one who will give us success...” (Nehemiah 2:20 NRSV).
REflection from Winning the War In Your Mind”
The devotional this morning from “Winning the War in Your Mind” REminds us of the scripture in Philippians 4:4 which encourages us to “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice”. Groeschel places this REjoicing in perspective. We should ALWAYS REjoice in the Lord for who He is and not what we might be going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak). Groeschel goes on to keep us focused on Thee knowing, “When we praise Him, He will show up. When He shows up, it will change our thinking. If we change our thoughts, we change our life.”
Psalms 19:1
May we continue to keep our heads lifted to the heavens where we find strength and our help, REjoicing always in the Lord for all He has done, is doing, and will do in our lives. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Wonderful wisdom and wondrous works will He will in our lives when we walk with Thee this Wednesday and each day, my friend.
