REmain REsolute with the Father

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:32

Today’s message encourages us to BE “Compassionate”. “It is a well-known prospect that we become like those we associate with…. and we are to be remade in the image of our Maker. He is kind, compassionate, and forgiving. This sort of behavior takes an intentional laying down of self, but it becomes more and more attainable when we spend intentional time with God.” Friends and family are important, but BEing intentional with our RElationship with our Father shapes in ways that Peter speaks as he writes in Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Hezekiah Walker has a song, “To Be Like Jesus”…that’s all I want. Let’s work to BE more like Him by dwelling with Him.

John 18

Jesus says in John 18:36-37, “My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight…but now is my kingdom not from hence.…Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”

REflection from Addicted to Busy by Brady Boyd

Today’s message from “Addicted to Busy” is “The Jesus Pace is Resolute” REsolute, unwavering, that’s what everything associated with the Father is. In today’s devotional Jesus and the disciples in the boat with the major storm. Boyd says, “So, the storm is surging all around, the disciples are scared out of their minds, and there is Jesus, asleep in the stern. His otherwise happy followers are infuriated. ‘Is it nothing to you that we’re going down?’ (Mark 4:38) they scream as Jesus snoozes away.” We all know what happens. Jesus awakens in verse 39 and says, “Quiet! Settle down!” We all have to REmember who we walk with each day. The disciples forgot so quickly BEcause of fear, who was right with them. Our Father will never leave us nor forsake us. We can trust in Him always to BE REsolute, but at His pace, for He’s already gone BEfore us, but just as important, He is with us. BE still and know He is God.

Psalm 46:10

We don’t have to do anything, for He can do it all in our lives.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
