Take time to recenter your thoughts on His unconditional love for you

“Because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’” Mark 6:34

“A Quiet Place”—do you have one? When is the last time you experienced stillness, uninterrupted, quality time with you and God? Today’s devotional begins with Mark 6:34 which reads, “Because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’” Many of us are so consumed with people and activity. As the message says, “Time with Jesus provides a rest we can't get any other way.” It’s time for sufficient rest to rejuvenate our minds, bodies, and souls. His calendar is always open for whatever time you need.

Reflection from Choosing Gratitude

Today’s final message from “Choosing Gratitude” speaks to “For Outrageous Love”. It begins with a powerful quote by C.S.Lewis. “The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us.” The writer then goes on to say, “We are quite flawed. Beautiful, but broken. Spirited, but sinful. We don’t always work right. And God is not shocked that we don’t work well…. He doesn’t love us because we are good. He just loves us. Period.” We must always work to keep that perspective of our Father at the forefront of all that we say, do, and most importantly, think. His low is truly unconditional. Try Him, or better yet, try Him again.

What we do and show is much more impactful than what we say.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Take time to recenter your thoughts on His unconditional love for you, my friend.
