Daily Devotional for March 5, 2021

“Though the fig tree does not blossom, and no fruit is on the vines; though the produce of the olive fails and the fields yield no food; though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the God of my salvation.” (Habakkuk‬ ‭3:17-18‬ ‭NRSV‬‬)

There are some things in life that we have to live with for a season. We don’t know if it will BE temporary or permanent, but we know it’s for a purpose. As Joel Osteen works to encourage us to keep this mindset: “God, I know your grace is sufficient...I believe at the right time You will change it; but if it never changes, I’m still going to do my best and honor You.” Let our attitude show gratitude for the grace we continuously REceive.

Nehemiah 11

As the people came to Jerusalem in Nehemiah 11:2, may we continue to BE drawn and draw others to Christ and be blessed to bless others.

REflection from Restoration: Deluxe Bible Plan

Last night I was discussing my book with a friend, and as we chatted, I BEgan to question whether or not I was REally going to RElease it to the world. I prayed about it as I always do and went to bed. As customary, the Father hears, and has provided a word through today’s devotional. Lecrae says this morning, “Time does not heal all wounds and if we don’t deal with the past, it will deal with us in the present...we have personal and collective histories that need to be addressed.” His prayer for today goes on to encourage us to seek the father and pray, “God, please reveal personal and generational sin patterns in my life. Help me also to look outside myself and see how historic sins are plaguing communities around me and help me bring Restoration as you Restore me.” This is my confirmation that soon I will share my book, Restore The Joy: A Transformation T.H.R.O.U.G.H. Confirmation. 🙏🏽

John 5:24
