Daily Devotional for May 3, 2021

As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you… Galatians 4:13

Today’s message by Osteen is titled “Waste No Pain”. Yesterday I took part in a workshop where we were given statements that began with “I knew when...then I...”. As I worked to complete the phrase, though the memory I REflected on was a painful event, the outcome produce something that worked for my good and others’ purpose. That’s what today’s message is all about. Today’s scripture from Galatians 4:13 REads, “As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you…”. Though initially thought of as negative, pain produces some of the most beautiful blessings in life.

Luke 21

As we choose to follow Christ we will BE faced with some adversity and REsistance. Luke 21:17 and 19 says, “You will be hated by ... because of my name.... By your endurance you will gain your souls.” Let us REmain faithful and press forward on the JOurneY He has set out for us for our purpose and plan in this life.

REflection from The Confident Woman Devotional by Joyce Meyers

Today we BEgin a new devotional series from Joyce Meyers from “The Confident Woman”. She encourages us to BElieve in ourselves and to see ourselves as God sees us. She goes to say, “If your answer (of how you see yourself) does not agree with God's Word, I encourage you to begin today renewing your mind about yourself.”. No matter what may have occurred in the past, and as REcently as this morning, know that God loves us and gives us opportunities to improve our lives and BEgin again with each moment.

I encourage you to pray this prayer from Meyers: “Lord, I ask You to imprint Your love into the depths of my heart. I believe You have a great future for me and that I can walk in Your purpose for my life. Amen.”

1 Timothy 2

How worthy and precious are we? So much so that the ransom was paid in full through the ultimate sacrifice.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Make ministry your mindset this Monday, my friend.
