Daily Devotional for January 17, 2021

“The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;” Psalms‬ ‭37:23‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I have come to REalize that my life is not my own. God has a purpose and plan for it, and I desire to BE used by Him. When we work to BE a willing vessel, He will use us and our trials and triumphs to help others. The scripture says, “ The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord” (Psalm 37:23). Osteen REminds us in today’s message, “Sometimes God will inconvenience you in order to help somebody else.” He goes further to encourage us to “...Instead of resisting it, trying to pray it way, why don’t you embrace it?”. What a perspective to take?! May we REmember that there is a blessing and/or lesson in everything in our lives, and sometimes that blessing and/or lesson is beneficial for others too. Trials come to make us strong, strengthening us for something even greater. Let us REmember that our lives are the only bible that some will ever REad. Let us BE an example for Christ wherever we work, live, and play.

Jeremiah 42

In Jeremiah 42:10 the word says, “‘If you stay in this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you, for I have relented concerning the disaster I have inflicted on you”. Sometimes we have to BE still and know that He is God. We will BE placed in situations that cause us to BE uncomfortable or grow uncomfortable, but there is a purpose and a plan for it all. Our Father does not put us in situations to harm us, but to prosper us. We can always trust and depend on Him. Even now we are living the prayers that we prayed in our past. It may not look the way we planned or expected, but He has answered and is answering in a way that is BEst fit for our JOurneY along this glorious adventure He is leading us on each day.

REflection from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

As I work with my clients, today we BEgin the devotional series 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce. Today’s message REminds us to BE intentional about our time with the Father. When we keep our minds, hearts, and souls stayed on Thee, He will give us clarity. May we this day and each day center ourselves on Him. Let us REmove those things that prevent us from BEcoming our BEst selves, and REceive from Him the vision He has for our lives so that we may walk into our season.

1 Peter 5:10
