Daily Devotional for May 7, 2021
You [my enemy] pushed me violently so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me. Psalm 118:13 AMP
I always say, Everything God Ordains (E.G.O.), and that includes challenges and adversity. Osteen’s message this morning literally explains what I am currently living. He said, “God has lined up divine connections, people who will be good to you...He’s also lined up people who will try to stop you, people who will try to make you look bad and discourage you.” I also am adamant that we have to go T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) to get to our breakthrough. In alignment with Osteen’s devotional, He REassures us, “When you overcome, not only will you step up to a new level of your destiny, but everyone around you will see the favor of God on your life.” This is exactly what I’m experiencing now; the favor of the Lord REsts upon me! My REcent promotion is BEing witnessed by those I don’t even know, and they are celebrating me! I am REaping my harvest. I REmained faithful and waited patiently, and He has (and is) bringing me out.
Acts 1
My friend, BE encouraged along this JOurneY called life. Acts 1:7-8 REminds us to REmain steadfast as our minds BEgin to wonder for our Father will bring us out and lift us up. The scripture says, “He replied, ‘It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’” I don’t know what you are going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) but you are on your way to your breakthrough. Prepare to witness and tell of His goodness! Go on and praise Him in advance, for praise confuses the enemy.
REflection from The Confident Woman
Joyce Meyers’s message from “The Confident Woman” has us to REmember, there are differences between men and women and also differences in personalities. However, it goes on to REmind us that the bible encourages us to seek understanding first, then speak. Let us speak the prayer she has for today, and keep it near and dear as we JOurneY forth:
“Pray: Lord, I want to be a (wo)man of wisdom and understanding. Help me comprehend why men/women are the way they are and how I can improve in my communication and friendships. Amen.”
Proverbs 18:10
There is power and protection, purpose and promotion in His marvelous name. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Find Faith in the Father this Friday, my friend.
