Daily Devotional for May 6, 2021

Be assured that when we speak to you we’re not after crowd approval—only God approval. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 MSG

Let us always keep the mindset and understanding that this life that we live and the work that we do is not about pleasing people but only for God approval, as emphasized in 1 Thessalonians 2:4. As Osteen shares this morning, “So don’t complain about your enemies, because God will use them to push you up.” Allow Him to propel you through your prayers, patience, and petitions. REmember Romans 8:31, “If God be for us, who can be against us?”

Luke 24

Like the two who were on the walk to Emmaus in Luke 24:32, may our hearts burn within us while He talks to us. We can always feel God’s presence when we go to Him in prayer. People always speak about “something” coming over them or a feeling. That’s not just “something”, that’s the Savior.

REflection from The Confident Woman Devotional

This morning Joyce Meyes speaks about confidence in “The Confident Woman Devotional”. She says, “If God calls someone to do something, and they have the confidence to go forward, nothing can stop them...Confident people don't think about how old they are; they think about what they can accomplish with the time they have left. Remember, confident people are positive and look at what they have, not what they have lost.” We are a confident people; as a matter of fact, we are Godfident people. Today is a new day with new beginnings, new blessings, new mercies, and new opportunities. In this moment we give praise for what we have, for the past is gone, and the future is not promised. The present, however, is truly a gift to enJOY. Go forth this day and do what God is calling you to do. May we each strive to BE a willing vessel to BE used by Him for others to come to know Him.

Colossians 4:2

Let us always BE prayerful, watchful, and thankful for we are abundantly blessed. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
