Safety and solitude await you in the Savior

“You have armed me with strength for the battle.” Psalm 18:39

Psalm 18:39 states, “You have armed me with strength for the battle.” This morning Osteen REminds us not to allow our minds to prevent us from accomplishing what our hearts know we can do. He says, “Are you letting something defeat you because you think you don’t have the strength to overcome…? God will help you do what you can’t.” We all have a heart full of courage and a Father who has strengthened us to endure and persevere T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak).

2 Samuel 8

Let us know as with David in 2 Samuel 8:6, the Lord will help us wherever we go.

REflection from Promises for Your Everyday Life

Our Father truly makes me laugh and smile. This morning’s devotional by Meyer REminds me of my favorite scripture and gives me another to REflect on as I sit in awe of His wondrous work at the ocean. Meyer REminds us of Romans 8:28 by saying, “The apostle Paul tells us in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good. Notice Paul doesn't say that all things are good, but that all things work together for good.” She goes further to say, “Paul also tells us in Romans 12:16 to ‘readily adjust yourself to [people, things].’ The idea is that we must learn to become the kind of person who plans things but who doesn't fall apart if that plan doesn't work out.”

As I sit in quiet contemplation this morning at a beach house, I’m REminded how God has worked this trip for my good, because when planning was BEginning, my initial thoughts were, this was not going to work out BEcause of the schedule with my kids. I have truly learned that He knows the plans for us, and all we must do is trust and leave everything to Him, knowing our worry ends where faith BEgins. This didn’t go according to my plan, but His.

Matthew 11:28-29
