Spiritual Blessings

Today I want to lift up the prayer that closed out today’s reading. “Dear Lord, regardless of my circumstances, help me focus heavenward. Allow me to praise You for the spiritual blessings I have been given. Amen.” Regardless of my circumstances—no matter what, let us seek to praise God. This prayer is preceded by the reminder that “Regardless of our circumstances, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ…Earthly trials are temporary. Spiritual blessings are forever.” There’s a song by Rev. Timothy Wright that’s titled “Troubles Don’t Last Always”, and that’s true. Think back over your life, and even the past day or two. Something that caused you worry or frustration isn’t even a factor anymore. For many of us, we’ve even forgotten what we were concerned about. As we continue on this new day and days to come along life’s JOurneY, let us focus on our praise, and praise in advance for the deliverance from the trials and challenges we already know He is going to see us through.

Ephesians 1:3 reads, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Know that though it may not look like it or seem like it from an earthly perspective sometimes, in all things and every situation, including trials we are blessed and their are blessings—we must look and see with our spiritual lens.

Small Straws Scripture: Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

When we are rooted in Christ and dependent and trusting in Him and not of ourselves and flesh, we will continually see and benefit from Him and His ways no matter the circumstances.

Youversion Verse of the Day: Romans 5:8

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God sacrificed His own for His love for us before we ever realized it.

We actualize, realize, and reap only love and blessings as we remain rooted, grounded, and focused on Thee, my friend.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
