“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Proverbs 16:24

Proverbs 16:24 is highlighted this morning with Osteen’s message, and it REads, “Gracious words are a
honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.” Osteen follows up by saying, “We don't always see how powerful we really are. God has put healing in you…. What may seem simple and ordinary to you, no big deal, becomes extraordinary when God breathes on it. It can be life-giving. It can be the spark that brings another person back to life.” As with ourselves, sometimes need an encouraging word, BEcause we never truly know what one is going through, so always lead with love. Let us not worry about a REply for we know the message has BEen REceived, therefore you have fulfilled a good deed. Perspective: everyone is dealing with something and awaiting God’s timing, not just me and you.

Matthew 12

Let us BE careful of the words we speak to one another, for as spoken by the Father in Matthew 12:36, “‘But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.’”

Reflection from Timeless Wonder: A Christmas Reading Plan by New Life Church

As we wrap up the series “Timeless Wonder: A Christmas Reading Plan”, today’s message speaks about the impact of lineage. “Most families have significant moments of success and triumph that are intertwined with the cautionary tales of relatives who fell into failure or sin. The highs inspire and even intimidate us, while the lows shock us, striking fear of falling into the same issues as those who have already paved a low way before us.” But it goes on to REmind us, “As you celebrate the holidays and move into a new year, remember that you now carry the name above all names, Jesus. There is no past and no DNA sequence that can overpower the grace God has for you! Keep leaning in to your spiritual heritage as you go forward in your life.” Let us continue along life’s JOurneY trusting His process, His words, and His ways. Know that all that we are and all that we do BEgins with a choice to BElieve and follow what age would have us to do.
