You have the power within you

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25

I don’t know about you, but there have been times in my life that I wanted or needed to pray, and I just couldn’t find the words to say. This morning’s message speaks to what happens in these situations. “God intervenes for us in the midst of every type of struggle, including our prayer life…. He will give us the words to say when we find ourselves lacking. In fact, he will even go beyond that and give you a form of communication that words can't express!” We only must be still and know that He is God, and He will bless our souls without a word spoken.

Reflection from Reset: A 7-Day Plan for Building Positive Habits

Today’s message “A Prisoner Models Hope” talks about Paul, who even when jailed for his faith, writes letters to others encouraging others to stay in faith. The author says, “In Philippians 1:20, Paul says: ‘I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.’” Paul manifested what he desired even in the situation where it may have seemed he was doomed and done. As the author explains, this was an act of self-fulfilling prophecy. “In counseling and psychology, a ‘self-fulfilling prophecy’ means that sometimes, when we believe or expect something to happen, we unconsciously (and sometimes even consciously) act in a way to make that thing happen.” We have the power to think, believe and pray to our Father who will intercede on our behalf and do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine. A positive perspective produces prosperity.

Matthew 4:4

May we always feast on the Word of the Lord that will fulfill us and quench our thirst, never needing anything else to feed us and carry us through this life.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
