“I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws.” Psalms 119:30
Last night I met with one of my clients and assisted her with developing her EGOcentric Canvas. I love having the opportunity to do that because it allows me to use mine as an example, but it also allows me to see the various ways that my faith has BEen tested and the portions of life’s exam I am passing. As I was giving an overview last night, I introduced my three areas of focus, and looked at how two of the three manifested since March, seven months ago. As I now think about the last area, I know what God did with the other two He will do the same for the third. As the scripture today says, “I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I have set my heart on your laws” (Psalm 119:30). God has truly BEen faithful to me; He’s opened doors I could not see and made a way out of no way. As Osteen says this morning, “God wants to fulfill your destiny more than you do...and will release what He has in your future. And many times it will be exactly what you are praying for. I am trusting and BElieving, for hindsight is 2020, and as I continue to look back over my life, I am living my latter which is greater and my best—not necessarily what I expected, but definitely what I prayed for and answered in God’s perfect timing for my life. I know He will continue to come through if I just REmain faithful.
Deuteronomy 11
As Deuteronomy 11 emphasizes, “If we will love the Lord our God, and serving him with all our hearts and with all our souls — then he will give the rain for our land in its season...and we will gather in our grain, our wine, and our oil; and he will give grass in our fields for our livestock, and we will eat our fill” (Deuteronomy 11:13-15). Love and serve, those are the REquirements. If we give it shall BE given unto us; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over...(Luke 6:38).
Where have you sown seeds? It’s harvest time and the evidence is around us. What are you in the process of REaping? As today’s devotional from Tony Evans REminds us, “Your harvest depends on where you sow.” As we BEgin a new cycle of sowing, may we look for the areas in our own lives where God is at work in us, enabling us to both do His will and to work for his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). May we work to nurture these areas and sow not only into ourselves but into others.
Luke 6:35-36
May we not kill people with kindness, but let us give life to them with love; even those who spitefully use and persecute you. Love begets love. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Trust the test that the Teacher has prepared us to tackle this Thursday, my friend.
