Daily Devotional for August 29, 2021

“Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.” Psalm‬ ‭107:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Each and everyone of us has something we are dealing with, no matter how small or large, there are challenges in our lives. But as Osteen says, our day of deliverance is coming, and God is going to make things happen that we can’t. God will ordain people to come into our lives who are a part of His plan to make things happen that we couldn’t on our own, if we’ll be humble and REceptive. All things in His perfect timing for our good. Let us cry out, as in Psalm 107:6, “Lord, deliver me.”

Joshua 10

As we continue on our JOurneY each day, as Joshua told his men in chapter 10:25 and 42, “Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord is going to do… and fight for His people.”

REflection from Leadership Ignites

Today’s message from “Leadership Iignites” speaks to us saying, “Faith and ambition are meant to co-exist at work, and that happens when your work is motivated by your love for God.” However, with ambition, we should not have an attitude of “do whatever it takes to get ahead – sometimes to the point of stepping on others and compromising integrity.” As the scripture says, let us work unto God and not (wo)man so we might hear “Well done, good and faithful servant … come share in your master’s happiness” (Matthew 25:21 NIV).

2 Timothy 2:15

Let us put in the work to REap and REceive our REwards here on earth and in heaven to come. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Seek service opportunities as a servant leader this day and each day, my friend.
