Daily Devotional for August 28, 2021
“Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” Ephesians 6:13
It doesn’t matter what each day may bring, as we are encouraged by Osteen from today’s scripture REference found in Ephesians 6:13, “Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” There will BE some challenges, but there will BE some end dates, in Osteen’s words, “God has a day of deliverance, a day of healing, a day of abundance, a day of breakthrough.”
Joshua 9
As with the Israel leaders in Joshua 9:19-20, when we give our word with the Father to others in good faith, if we are deceived let us not try to payback others from the wrongdoing for divine anger will come upon us. Let God BE God and have His way.
REflection from Leadership Ignited by Workmatters
Today we BEgin REflecting on “Leadership Ignited” by Workmatters. Today’s topic starts by REminding us God has a purpose for your work. The text says, “God wants to work through you and He wants you to lean on Him for direction, wisdom, and strength. It doesn’t matter what type of work you do (provided it is work done for the good of others).” As in 1 Corinthians 10:31, the main purpose for our work is to bring Him glory. Therefore, my brother and siSTAR, whatever we do, and wherever we do it—personally or professionally—may others see Christ in our actions, words, and deeds.
1 Corinthians 15:7
There’s no failure or defeat in Christ. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Serve your brothers, siSTARS, and strangers this day and each day, my friend.
