Daily Devotional for August 27, 2021
“For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”
I Corinthians 16:9 NKJV
I know that God is with us, and hears us, and will not forsake us, for today’s devotional from Osteen provides assurance to me that I will share with colleagues after a conversation last night. With growth, new opportunities, new investments and REsources—new open doors, as spoke of in 1 Corinthians 16:9, there are many adversaries. However, Osteen REminds us in his message, “There may be obstacles that look insurmountable, but God has the final say… He’ll open doors (and other things) that no (wo)man can shut. He’ll turn situations around that look impossible.” Our Father never leaves our side, and will always bring us T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) what He takes us to along life’s JOurneY.
Joshua 8
As God states in Joshua 8:1, Don’t be afraid or discouraged…fight and attack and receive. There are battles that we will physically have to fight in this life. We must fight and attack with the Spirit, Word, and ways of Christ, and when we do we will REap.
REflection from When The Holy Spirit Moves
The last message from “When The Holy Spirit Moves” REminds us, “We receive the spiritual gifts as gifts from God, which we are not to keep to ourselves but are to pass on to others who need them…. the gift… is ultimately intended not for ourselves but for spiritual growth and for the purpose of greater usability and blessing to others.” As we go along this day, and each and every day, let us use what we have BEen gifted to gift someone else the love and service of Christ.
Matthew 7:8
It’s up to us to act to initiate all that He has for our lives. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
The future is in your faith today, my friend.
