Daily Devotional for October 31, 2020
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. 1 John 2:20
As one of yesterday’s scripture REminds us, we can do all things through Christ. With that mindset we are unstoppable, and as Joel Osteen speaks to this morning, we are uncontainable. “You have the spirit of the Living God on the inside. His anointing on your life is just like oil.” Nothing can keep us from accomplishing what we set out to do but ourselves. May we keep our thoughts focused on Thee and all the protection He places around us and all the strength He places within us.
Exodus 4
God gives us all signs in life. He gives us subtle nudges, and then He has to gut punch us sometimes for us to get the message. As in Exodus 4, “And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign” (Exodus 4:8). What has the Father spoken to you about that you have ignored or didn’t face that He is giving you another sign and chance to obey His will? Trust His will and His way and walk by faith and not by sight into the destiny He has for you for He knows what’s BEst for your life.
We all have our background and things we experienced in the past. As Wells REminds us this morning, “You don't have to hide your broken pieces because it is with the broken pieces of our lives that God constructs his biggest platforms from which he displays his glory. God is not done with you. Regardless of what you've walked through, how many mistakes you've made, or who has counted you out, God is not done with you!” EnJOY the present, for it is truly a gift. Learn to live in the moment with no REgrets, and use that of your past that was meant for your harm to work for your good and to help others in the future.
Romans 3:25
We don’t have to suffer and pay the cost for our wrongdoing, whether intentional or not, for He paid the cost on Calvary. Through REparation, we only have to go to Him on bended knees and confess and get back up again. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈
Set out to serve and sacrifice for our Savior this Saturday, my friend.
