Daily Devotional for October 30, 2020

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭139:14‬ ‭

As I served as a dean, I called myself the “unconventional dean” because I did not come up the ranks in the academy as most do, but my placement was ordered by God, for He qualifies the called. My work spoke for me and I served as REquired in Colossians 3:23-24. Since my most REcent promotion, I’ve BEen trying to figure out a new title to BE associated with, and it was just REvealed to me this morning in Osteen’s devotional—“uncontainable”. God continues to move in so many unexpected ways in my life, and He continues to show me that I’m uncontainable. As Osteen REminds us, “The forces in us are greater than the forces trying to contain you. If you’re to become everything God has created you to be, you can’t get stuck in a rut and think you’ve reached your limits.”

We are approaching the eleventh month of the year, and the number one symbolizes a new BEginning to a JOurneY, and eleven just doubles it. Use these last few days to REflect on you life and REset and prepare to stretch and REach for all that God is waiting to help you to and through in your life, for we are uncontainable and what He has for you is for you.

Exodus 3

As we continue to JOurneY along, let us always REmember as He spoke to Moses, “I AM THAT I AM”... And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction ...unto a land flowing with milk and honey” (Exodus‬ ‭3:14, 17‬). No matter where we are along our glorious adventure, whether up or down He will bring us out and better than BEfore, willing and able to bless us exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think.

The devotional today by Tauren Wells focuses in on Jesus asking Peter three times if he loves Him in the same manner that Peter denied Him. Wells asks, like Jesus, “Who do we have in our lives asking us the hard questions—not questions that hurt us but questions that heal?“. Jesus gives us grace and mercy, therefore we must give ourselves grace and mercy. May we today stop harboring those things in our lives—the wounds, the mistakes, the failures, the sins, and as Wells encourages, “Allow Jesus to reclaim that space, he can turn our mess into our miracle.” Let those tests BEcome your TESTimonies to BE used to help someone else along life’s way.

Philippians 4:13

There is nothing too powerful for God, and there is nothing we cannot do with His power within us. 🙏🏽🦋💚🌈

Favor ain’t fair but don’t falter from it in fear this Friday, my friend.
