Daily Devotional for May 25, 2021

“I promise that I’ll bless you with everything I have—bless and bless and bless!” Abraham stuck it out and got everything that had been promised to him. Hebrews 6:13–15 MSG

We are REminded again this morning that when adversity comes up against us we must not give up or give in, but shake it off (as the old gospel song about the old goat that fell into the well), and pack it under your feet. Osteen keeps us focused on how these things will work for our good. BEing rooted in Christ and packing the shit up under our feet that comes to kill, steal, and destroy, in Osteen’s words, “It’s just more fertilizer. God’s getting me prepared for something greater.” Use the adversity to literally grow into what God is preparing you for and that’s greater.

Acts 19

As followers of Christ, may we REmember as in Acts 19:4, baptism is of REpentance and we must also BE baptized knowing that the Holy Spirit shall come upon us to prophesy. BElieve and speak life at least over yourself.

REflection from Starting Your Day Right Devotional

Today Joyce Meyer focuses in on prayer. We each must come to know the Father for ourselves, and establish a personal RElationship with Him. That means my walk and talk may BE different from yours, but it is unique. As Meyer says this morning, “Trust God to lead you individually in how long to pray and what to pray about.” As the lyrics to a Donald Lawrence song says, “Get in the Spirit...let the Lord minister to you.” As I tell my coaching clients, Y.O.U. (you only understand) what God has put into your heart, mind, and soul. BE led by the Spirit and not the flesh.

Galatians 5:25

May we stay in step with the Spirit whether through a straight out sprint or through strolls along life’s JOurneY. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Transition thoughts to trust in Thee this Tuesday, my friend.
