Daily Devotional for November 6, 2020

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:10‬ ‭

Each day, and quite honestly, each moment is an opportunity for us to BEgin again. As stated just yesterday (I BElieve or one day this week), I said change your mind, change your life. This morning Osteen says, “There are seeds of greatness on the inside. If you will break free from your limited mind-set and enlarge your vision, you will see God take you places that you’ve never even dreamed of.” One of my coaching clients had a breakthrough last night, but it took her writing her vision and making it plain through her EGOcentric Canvas and then allowing herself to BE open, authentic, vulnerable, and ok with BEing uncomfortable.

Just last night she took a moment of REflection to see what has manifested in her life in about a month. Just this week, three areas she wanted to focus on have already BEgun to evolve, and she texted me with excitement. Similar to what Osteen stated, I said to her, “We have to get out of our own way so that God can have His way.” Many times we self-sabotage, not even BElieving in ourselves when we are children of the Most High God. Don’t block your blessings. Let go and let God have His way in your life: BE-LIeVE.

Exodus 10

As we continue to see with Pharaoh in Exodus 10, sometimes in this life as humans, our hearts BEcome hardened BEcause we want to do things our way and our minds are set on what we want. But let us trust our Father for His plans are exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think. Don’t block your blessings from BEing focused on your own understanding.

In Day One of Better Than Normal by YouVersion, the devotional speaks to normal meaning conforming to a standard, type, or regular pattern; however, “As followers of Jesus, we’re called to live differently.” As I read this I thought of some words children hear at a young age by Dr. Seuss, that still REsonate with me today:

Today you are you! That is truer than true! There is no one alive who is you-er than you!

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Why fit in when you were born to stand out?!

Psalm 139:14 REminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made; we are all unique but made in His image. There is nothing standard or normal about us or expected of us. We are extraordinary and there is so much REmaining for us to evolve into along this glorious adventure.

1 John 4:15

Gatorade has a slogan: “Is it in you?” May we REmember life is not about the “It” factor, but it is about knowing Him for ourselves and having Him within us to live a life that is pleasing to the Father. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Focus on the fact that you are fearfully made by the Father this Friday, my friend.
