Daily Devotional for June 9, 2021

“I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick.” Ezekiel 34:16 NKJV

It is so wonderful to know that God can work everything for our good. Osteen’s message is so REassuring this morning. He spoke about a small town in South America that was built on a garbage dump. With the message Osteen says, “He takes the broken pieces of our lives—the mistakes, the injustices, what seems like a waste—and He makes music out of our mess.” Nothing in our lives will ever BE a waste. May we always consider there is a lesson or blessing, and from mess comes a message.

Genesis 6

God has BEen a god of a second chance since the BEginning. In Genesis 6:5, “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.”…“So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created…” Our Father cares for us and is compassionate. He desires only the BEst for us. May we never fear seeking Him to love the hurt and pain away, or REmove negativity from our hearts and minds. His love for us is like none other.

REflection from Battlefield of the Mind

As I have grown in my spiritual walk, I have BEcome careful of my words and my thoughts. This morning Joyce Meyer focuses in on our thought life. She says, “The more you meditate on God's Word, the stronger you'll become and the more easily you'll win the victories.” She goes further saying, “Too many Christians don't realize the difference between meditating on the Bible and reading the Bible. They like to think that whenever they read God's Word, they're absorbing the deep things of God. Those who meditate on God's Word are those who think--and think seriously--about what they're reading.” Meditation is like marinating the mind. Let us soak up and absorb the Word and God’s ways for our lives so that it is engrained and not temporary.

Psalms 100:5

Though we may fall short with our praise and thanksgiving, His love is never wavering and is everlasting.🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Worship without wavering this Wednesday, my friend.
