Daily Devotional for May 14, 2021

“But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins… I say to you, arise…” Mark 2:10–11 NKJV

Our Father is true to His word through the scripture shared for us to abide by, so let us be true to our word (and deeds) as we do for others on earth. As evident by the message from Osteen this day, we may have critics like Jesus did, but what God calls us to do, may we see it through.

Acts 8

As with the BElievers in Acts 8:30-31 we are not on this JOurneY alone. We may not understand everything that we REad and may need help along the way. May we create circles of BElievers to study the word and engage, learning and growing together in Christ.

REflection from The Confident Woman Devotional

This morning Joyce Meyer speaks about the prayer of consecration. “When we truly consecrate ourselves to the Lord, we lose the burden of trying to run our own lives.” She goes further saying, “Consecration and/or dedication to God is the most important aspect of succeeding at being ourselves.” I have truly come to REalize this life that I’m living is not my own. I am His to BE used. He has plans for my life so that I might live and BE a willing vessel and example for others. I have come to accept what He has for me is for me. This day and each day forward let us BE open to BE used by Him, praying this prayer by Meyer:

“Pray: Lord, I gladly consecrate myself - body, soul and spirit - to You today. Take my life, shape my life, and use my life for Your glory. Amen.”

Habakkuk 3:18

In all things and no matter the circumstances, REjoice in the Lord along your JOurneY. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Fight fervently in faith this Friday, my friend.
