Daily Devotional for January 28, 2021

“His feet they hurt with fetters: He was laid in chains of iron,” Psalms‬ ‭105:18‬ ‭ASV‬‬

Each day’s devotional is always so timely and in alignment with my life. Today, Joel Osteen speaks about Joseph BEing falsely accused and put in prison for thirteen years! Osteen writes, “In that prison Joseph developed strength, a perseverance that he could not have gotten any other way. There are some lessons you can only learn in the dark places...To have no opposition, no problems, and nobody coming against you may sound good, but it will stunt your growth.” Last night I BEgan REviewing (prayerfully) my last round of book edits. Almost four years later, I truly understand that all that I experienced and wrote about was all a part of God’s perfect plan for my life. I could not understand for the darkness I was in at the time, and all that I was going T.H.R.O.U.G.H. (Trials, Hurt, Regrets, Obstacles, Uncertainty, Guilt, Heartbreak) during that season, but now I see it developed and prepared me for a time such as this, where I have REached a higher potential, and anticipate what is yet to come.

Jeremiah 52

As with Joseph and his imprisonment, Jehoiachin in Jeremiah 52:31 was brought forth out of prison and given an allowance each day until the day of his death. In the same manner God set the captive free, He can do the same for us. We only must trust and BElieve that He is truly the Light to direct us out of our darkness.

REflections from 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce

The 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: The Sauce message put into context the fact that God continues to REmind me that I must keep the faith. I cannot lean to my own understanding as to why something hasn’t happened, and why I haven’t completed something or even what I’m supposed to do next. I must only keep the faith and trust His process, and when I do I will REap the things I hoped for (and more) as hindsight is what I could not see during my time of wonder. My faithfulness allows me to truly enJOY my JOurneY, through trials and triumphs, knowing it will all work for my good.

Psalms 24:10

There is none other and never will be—period. 🙏🏽💚🦋🌈

Trust the test this Thursday that’s transforming you, my friend.
